| Cats Questions & Answers February 23, 2006 18:50:00There is a new web site called Yahoo! Answers. It’s still in beta as this kind of services all seem to be. But guess what, it has a category for cats! That means there are people asking cat related questions and people answering them. As always don’t take anything for granted, but you might get some good opinions and answers to your questions from cat lovers.
The system works on open and resolved questions, and has a voting system for the best answer. For example look at this resolved question: “Is it crazy to love my cat so much?”. I would say of course not! We are lovely.
I find it interesting to see what people wants to know and knows about us. Meoooow.

| Cats Vomiting February 22, 2006 02:44:00 I’m a cute Siamese cat but no matter how short my hair is I like to let it go of me all over the house. The problem is when I like to take a tongue bath to groom myself and eat it up too much. A couple of days ago I had a vomit, guess what, it was a hairball!
I also vomit undigested food some times because I’m a very anxious cat and I eat fast or a lot if I’m nervous. But most of the times there are no worries. It’s seems it’s pretty common for cats to vomit. If you are a proud cat owner of a vomiting one, you can get more information from this article on Cat Vomiting.
Also, I found this device for cat owners vomit caution steps. :)

| The Cat Piano February 22, 2006 01:40:00
This strange music instrument was featured today at Régines blog.
“In order to raise the spirits of an Italian prince burdened by the
cares of his position, a musician created for him a cat piano. The
musician selected cats whose natural voices were at different pitches
and arranged them in cages side by side, so that when a key on the
piano was depressed, a mechanism drove a sharp spike into the
appropriate cat’s tail. The result was a melody of meows that became
more vigorous as the cats became more desperate. Who could not help but
laugh at such music? Thus was the prince raised from his melancholy.”
Funny? I don’t think so! I sing without anyone stepping on my tail. Some humans are so mean.

| Software for Cats? February 21, 2006 15:16:00Did you know there is special software for cats? Well, not exactly for us but cat owners, cat lovers or maybe cat haters.
A friend of mine called Chilvi showed me PawSense, a program to catproof your computer! I wonder why they don’t want us to play with their keyboards. After all it’s really fun to write stuff like prrrrrrrrrrrrrrr on the screen don’t you think?
The program says to detect cat typing and help keep us away from the computer keyboard.
Look what their site says:
“PawSense analyzes keypress timings and combinations to distinguish cat typing from human typing. PawSense normally recognizes a cat on the keyboard within one or two pawsteps.
If a cat gets on the keyboard, PawSense makes a sound that annoys cats. This teaches your cat that getting on the keyboard is bad even if humans arent watching.”
Now, the thing about the sound that annoys cats really annoys me. I think it’s enough with the sound I make myself screaming all day to annoy my servant. Meooow!
